🕰️ Simple Past, Present, and Future Tense: Review

Tense shows WHEN an action happens: Past ⏳, Present ⏰, or Future 🔮.

👉 Used for actions that already happened in the past.

Form: Verb + -ed (for regular verbs) / Irregular forms.

Keywords: yesterday, ago, last night, in 2000.

Examples:

  • I played football yesterday. ⚽
  • She went to the market last week. 🛒

👉 Used for actions that happen regularly, are facts, or are true now.

Form: Base verb (+ -s/-es for he/she/it).

Keywords: always, often, every day, usually.

Examples:

  • He reads a book every night. 📖
  • The sun rises in the east. 🌅

👉 Used for actions that will happen in the future.

Form: will + base verb / is going to + verb.

Keywords: tomorrow, next week, soon, later.

Examples:

  • We will travel to Delhi tomorrow. 🧳🚆
