✨ What is an Adjective?

👉 An adjective is a word that describes a noun (person, place, thing, or idea).

• It tells us how something looks, feels, sounds, tastes, or behaves.

📌 Example:

• The beautiful 🌹 flower is in the garden.
• He wore a red 🔴 shirt.

🎨 Types of Adjectives

1. Descriptive Adjectives 🎨 – Describe qualities of a noun.

• Example: tall, happy, colourful
• Sentence: The happy 😊 child laughed loudly.

2. Quantitative Adjectives 🔢 – Tell how much or how many.

• Example: few, many, several, ten

3. Demonstrative Adjectives 👉 – Point out something specific.

• Example: this, that, these, those

• ✔️ Check if the word is describing or giving more details about the noun.
• ✔️ If yes → It’s an adjective! 🎯
