✨ Capitalising Titles ✨

When writing titles of books, movies, songs, articles, or essays, it’s important to capitalise correctly. Titles make your writing look neat and professional! πŸ–‹οΈπŸ“š

Always capitalise the first and last words of a title, no matter what they are.

Example:

  • The Lion King πŸ¦πŸ‘‘
  • A Tale of Two Cities πŸ“–

Capitalise all nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs.

Words like and, or, but, in, of, the are usually not capitalised unless they are the first or last word.

Example:

  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈβœ¨
  • The Sound of Music 🎡🎢

Words like a, an, the, in, on, at, with, by, for, of, and, or, but are small words.

βœ… Only capitalise if they are the first or last word in the title.
