✨ Formatting Titles 📚🎨

When we write or type titles, it’s important to format them correctly so they look neat and professional. There are different ways to format titles depending on what type of work it is.

Underline or italicize the title.

Example:

  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
  • Or: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Use quotation marks " " around the title.

Example:

  • “The Lion and the Mouse” 🦁🐭
  • “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” ❄️🌲

Italicize or underline the title.

Example:

  • The Lion King 🦁
  • Friends

Use quotation marks " "

Example:

  • “Shape of You” 🎶
  • “The Road Not Taken” 🌿

Italicize or underline the title.

Example:

  • National Geographic 🌍
  • Times of India 📰
  • Capitalize the first and important words in the title.
  • Do not capitalize small words like: and, in, of, the (unless it is the first word).
  • Always be consistent with your formatting! ✅
