| Plural Nouns (More than One) |
Definition: A plural noun names more than one person, animal, place, or thing.
Rule: Usually, we add -s or -es.
Example:
- Dog β Dogs πΆπΆ
- Box β Boxes π¦π¦
Irregular plurals: Some nouns change completely.
- Man β Men π¨π¨
- Child β Children πΆπΆ
- Mouse β Mice ππ

If noun ends in y after a consonant β y β ies

If noun ends in f / fe β f β ves

Definition: A possessive noun shows who or what owns something.
Rule: Add βs to the noun.
Example:
- The girlβs book π (The book belongs to the girl)
- My fatherβs car π (The car belongs to my father)
Plural nouns ending in -s: just add β
- The boysβ room π (The room of the boys)
- The teachersβ lounge π§βπ« (The lounge of the teachers)
