Key Notes:

Definition: A plural noun names more than one person, animal, place, or thing.

Rule: Usually, we add -s or -es.

Example:

  • Dog β†’ Dogs 🐢🐢

Irregular plurals: Some nouns change completely.

  • Man β†’ Men πŸ‘¨πŸ‘¨

If noun ends in y after a consonant β†’ y β†’ ies

Definition: A possessive noun shows who or what owns something.

Rule: Add ’s to the noun.

Example:

Plural nouns ending in -s: just add ’

  • The boys’ room 🏠 (The room of the boys)
