quantities<\/strong> of the same kind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It shows <strong>how much of one thing there is compared to another<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Example: If there are 2 apples \ud83c\udf4e and quantity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: In <strong>4 : 5<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 = first term<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 = second term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr should be written in the <strong>simplest form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Divide both terms by their <strong>Highest Common Factor (HCF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
